Chime Communications PLC - The Company

Chime has been notified that on 2nd December 2014, the direct interest of WPP has increased to 18.02% of the Company. This notification has been triggered by the holding of WPP increasing to above the 18% threshold.

WPP’s holding in Chime is held in WPP Beans Ltd.

Chime confirms the total issued share capital as at this date is 100,149,112 ordinary shares of 25 pence each.

This is the first notification Chime has received from WPP since October 2013 when Chime was informed by WPP of its intention to explore a sale of its stake in Chime, subject to price and other terms being satisfactory to WPP’s Board. This was communicated to Chime shareholders in the Prospectus and Notice of General Meeting dated 23rd October 2013.
