For a Senior Account Manager/Project manager – co-ordinator

Bell Pottinger is looking for a highly motivate account manager or senior account manager to be the right hand support for the Group lead for social marketing and public sector work.  This is currently predominantly health focussed – however, it will eventually broaden in to areas such as education, crime and employment.

This is a key role which is the result of significant growth in our public sector work.

We need someone who will:

• Work alongside the Director, Claire Cater, as a key right hand.
• Specifically co-ordinating those accounts that she and the teams across the group are actively involved in. Whilst there are account teams in place for larger projects, there is a need to ensure that the account is on track, delivering and all the financials are up to date
• Co-ordinate new business activity – project management. Ensuring we respond in a timely and appropriate manner and that all the necessary detail is provided
• Project manage key activities such as events. NB: We currently have a very important marketing event coming up on the 3rd February
• Co-ordinate research activity – ensuring the team is abreast of key sector and related issues
• Ensure the appropriate co-ordination and management processes are in place and being used
• Liaise closely with key clients
• Essentially – be the ‘go to person’ on all key activity
• Prepare financial updates for key accounts with the support of the account teams
• Be an essential/pivotal part of the team
• Work closely with the pa/admin – as a two person team 

This is a perfect role for someone who has excellent interpersonal and project management skills.  An eye for details is essential.  It’s an ideal role for someone who is ambitious as there is potential to grow with the role and gradually get more involved in key accounts.

• Strong project management, reporting and co-ordination skills
• Good PR skills and appreciation of the different skill mix required on projects – as the role involves liaison with ‘multi disciplinary teams across the group’ who are working together on key accounts – from marketing to PR
• Eye for detail
• Ability to write
• Ability to build a strong rapport with clients and colleagues within the group
• Good multi tasker
• The ability to anticipate, plan and prepare
• Ability to listen, understand and interpret what people want
• Good power point and excel skills would be a great advantage – as we have to prepare a lot of presentations and our reports both internal and for clients require good, clear financial presentation too
