pmplegacy has a twin offer. We are a global sporting events consultancy helping cities evaluate, bid, plan and deliver major sporting events. Our primary focus is on event evaluation (what will be the sporting, economic and social impact of a bid for a city/region/country) and, most importantly, the event bidding process itself, everything from writing the bid books to legacy planning.

Secondly, we are a global sports project consultancy, specialising in the five areas of market appraisal; feasibility, strategic planning, business planning and best practice research for major new investments in sport, leisure and sports tourism. As management consultants, we help answer the all important client questions of what (venue, product or service) where, why, how, who with and when!

Recent activities include:

• Leading a major Strategic Review of the Commonwealth Games Federation
• Lead Strategic and Technical Advisors on the Baku’s bid to host the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games
• Lead Strategic and Technical Advisors on Hambantota’s bid to host the 2018 Commonwealth Games
• Bid management, including the city selection process, for England's 2018/2022 bid for the FIFA World Cup
• Legacy and business planning on the London Olympic Stadium for the ODA
• Advising on the feasibility of, and bidding for, the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games
• Advising on the feasibility, facility mix, financing and procurement of the Singapore Sports Hub - the largest sport and leisure PPP project in the world
• Working with FIFA on a review of their major event bidding guidance
