Facts International, leading Kent based market research agency and part of Chime Insight and Engagement Group, today announced the promotion of two female heavyweights, Emily Kettle and Claire Spencer to top jobs within the business.
Both appointments follow the recent news that the Chime Insight and Engagement group is performing “ahead of expectations”, with all parts of the business in profit and showing strong growth with good future prospects.
Emily Kettle, employee of Facts International since 2007, has been promoted from Chime Insight and Engagement Group Client Services Director, to Facts International’s Managing Director; and Claire Spencer, previously Group Financial Controller, has accepted the role of Group Financial Director.
Chime Insight and Engagement are bucking the national trend for male dominated boardrooms with locals Kettle and Spencer, joining a refreshingly female dominated set-up.
Poster girls for ambitious young women across the region, thirty something’s Emily and Claire have both enjoyed fast paced careers, Emily’s steadfast in research and Claire’s in accountancy. Both girls are delighted to be taking the next step in what they describe as ‘exciting career journeys founded on a healthy level of ambition, a can-do attitude and that all important little bit of luck!’
Emily comments “I’m delighted to be promoted to Managing Director and my message to all young women starting out is it’s hard out there but nothing’s impossible – work hard and challenge yourself and you never know what opportunities might crop up!” Emily adds “I am looking forward to my new position in the team and the new challenges this role will offer, especially the recruitment of new team members, something I am going to be focussing on in the New Year. 2013 is already set to be a bumper year for Facts International and indeed the wider CIE group. There are already lots of plans and opportunities on the table, so I’m thrilled to be at the helm during this exciting period of positive change”.
Claire comments “I agree with Emily, to be successful having a good work ethic is essential but it also helps to be someone
that offers solutions to problems, rather than just highlighting them. Claire adds “I’m thrilled to be taking on the role of Group FD and the challenges that will come with it. This marks an exciting new phase for both me and the business.”
Chief Executive of Chime Insight and Engagement Group, Crispin Beale comments; ‘I am delighted to announce Emily’s and Claire’s promotions - both women have worked extremely hard to reach this position and have both proved to be real assets to the business. Both Emily and Claire exhibit natural leadership skills and for Emily - excellence in research delivery. Both women are passionate about delivering results that drive genuine positive change and I’m confident that both Emily and Claire will be pivotal in driving the company forward onto an even greater growth trajectory”.
