SFW CREATES VCCP me IN PARTNERSHIP WITH TREE

Friday, 13 April 2012

Stephens Francis Whitson (SFW), the direct marketing agency, has developed a partnership with Tree, the Chime owned data consultancy, to bolster its data analysis and planning capability.  As a result of the enhanced offering, SFW will rebrand to become VCCP me.  Tree will move alongside them at the VCCP Partnership’s offices in Victoria.

At the same time, Neil Francis the other founding partner of SFW will leave the agency at the end of April.  Under his Creative Directorship SFW has won over 40 awards for MORE TH>N, Callaway Golf, ebookers, Microsoft, Southern Railways and RSA. Commenting on his decision, Francis says, ’Over the last seven years we’ve built a great award-winning and highly respected agency. I’ve had a ball but now feels like the right time to move onto a new challenge. I wish the boys all of the best in their new venture.’’ The team are currently in the process of finding a replacement Creative Director to lead the creative output of the new agency.

Tree will provide the skills and staff to enhance VCCP me's data offering. Indeed, to support Tree's analytical vision, Chime Communications plc has made an investment in a specialist digital analysis and application development business, StatAgile, based in Singapore and India which will bolster Tree's offering in this space.

Reflecting on the launch of VCCP me, Ben Stephens says "We’re putting together an agency with a reputation for excellence in data driven marketing strategy and execution with one who are proven experts in the management of complex data and uncovering real insight from it.  With Tree’s help, we believe we can create a data driven marketing agency of real scale and expertise." Steve Mattey adds, “Our clients are asking us to help them make sense of significant increases in behavioural data and, in truth, this offering provides an end-to-end solution that clients are increasingly demanding."

On the chosen name change, Chris Whitson adds, “The name change cements our position within the VCCP Partnership and reflects the significant increase in our working with other parts of the Partnership.  It aims to make our role in the mix clear for existing clients and prospects alike."
