Macmillan Cancer Support, one of the UK’s largest charities providing vital practical and emotional support to people living with cancer, has awarded its advertising account to VCCP.
The charity, founded over 100 years ago, is devoted to reaching and improving the lives of everyone living with cancer. Through services such as Macmillan nurses, the support line and their grants they directly reached 1.6 million people living with cancer in 2011. However, as diagnosis and treatments improve, the number of people living with cancer in the UK is growing rapidly – set to double by 2030 – and it is Macmillan’s ambition to reach every one of them in even more relevant and personal ways.
Macmillan Cancer Support worked with Oystercatchers to find the right agency partner to work with to develop their brand and raise awareness of Macmillan.
